Brett Weaver

Brett has been an anime voice-actor for twelve years. In the time between his first role as Washington in "Gunsmith Cats" to his most recent turn as Kamina in ADV's version of Gurren Lagaan, he has played more than 75 different characters, and subsequently has developed uncounted additional personalities.

He has also recently begun doing VA work in the video game industry as well. However, he's best known as Carrot in "Sorcerer Hunters", Gai Daigoji in "Nadesico", Nabeshin in "Excel Saga" and Terrorist #2 in "Burn Up W". You can find his almost complete acting resume here.

Brett isn't just a voice actor - he also enjoys anime, manga, and comics. His favorite American comic is Ultimate Spider-Man; his favorite anime series are Cowboy Bebop and the newly recorded Macross (in which he played Roy Fokker), and his favorite anime feature films are Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro and Spirited Away, despite his wife's constant attempts to win him over with Satoshi Kon movies.

Aside from anime and voice-acting, Brett also enjoys playing drums in his band, The Kryptids, biking around Austin, TX, playing with his dog Bob, participating in a good softball game, cooking, and pretending to be an outdoorsman by renting a kayak for the weekend.

Recently, Brett has been cheering his wife on from the sidelines as she works on her original graphic novel, "The (not so) Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal".

Brett loves talking and relaxing with fellow anime fans (provided they have bathed within the past couple of days), so stop by and say hi during one of his panels! (Please do not say "hi" with sharp poking devices.) You can visit his joint website with his Wife EK at www.big-big-truck.com.

As for why his part hasn't been updated lately? Didn't you just read how busy he is???
